hello hal chan i have a name now . anyways. i want to add more little fun things to my site.. i have a status cafe & imood, visit tracker, cbox, the whole shebang but what would u suggest to add ?

It really just depends on what you want for your website, I can't say there's anything I'd specifically recommend lol. If you search 'neocities widgets' there are a couple of Reddit threads that pop up with lots of different widgets you can consider!

hi your website is so cool.. i'm in the middle of making my own site and yours is a big inspiration. i'll be following your RSS and link your site once mines is done. im having a hard time figuring out a way to go about blog entries rn. how did you make your journal, and how do you make a live update thingy? im not too familiar with databases and things. great taste in music btw!

Thank you so much, I'll be sure to link you back! The status widget (assuming that's what you meant) is just a status.cafe embed, there's instructions on the site for how to add it, it's really simple. My journal is a little more difficult to explain, but there's no database involved, everything is hard-coded into the HTML file. It's basically a bunch of 'entry' divs that are hidden/displayed with javascript - each entry has its own ID as well, so it can be permalinked (I mostly use this for RSS). It's pretty similar to iframe-ing entries into the page, I just didn't want to make a new HTML file for each one. Purely personal preference, though not really efficient so I can't say I recommend doing it this way lol. Feel free to dig through the source code, it might help you understand better than my explanation. Otherwise you can email me and I'll try to help you out.

Thank you! I just used medibang to make my button since it's pretty simple, as long as your image is 88x31px you can do whatever you like. I know some people prefer to use button generators though (like 88x31.datakra.sh & hekate2.github.io/buttonmaker). Webrings are a completely different thing so hopefully I answered what you meant
